About me…

I'm Andrea, founder of Hear. You.

I'm passionate about creating a calm, thoughtful space where women can pause, reflect and begin to make sense of whatever life is bringing their way, and to better understand themselves.

My interest in psychology began long before I returned to university to study it formally. I've always been fascinated by people - the experiences that shape us, the relationships that influence us, and the often unseen emotional lives we carry beneath the surface.

Today, my work brings together psychological understanding, compassionate curiosity and genuine human connection. I believe that feeling truly understood can be the beginning of meaningful change, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to explore their experiences without judgement or pressure.

My journey

Before Hear. You., I spent over twenty years working in public relations and communications. While I enjoyed helping people tell their stories, I found myself increasingly drawn to understanding the people behind those stories.

That curiosity ultimately led me back to university to study Psychology. Throughout my studies, I became particularly interested in emotional wellbeing, relationships, the therapeutic process and what it truly means to feel heard and understood.

Alongside my degree, my work as a Samaritans volunteer has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It has reinforced something I have always believed: that being met with warmth, curiosity and genuine presence can have a profound impact, particularly during life's most difficult moments. Hear. You. grew from that belief. It was created to offer women a calm, compassionate space to slow down, reflect and better understand themselves.

My approach

I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding.

Rather than offering advice or quick solutions, I provide a calm, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and relationships with curiosity, honesty and compassion.

Every person arrives with their own unique experiences, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. My role is to meet you where you are, helping you develop greater self-awareness, recognise patterns that may no longer be serving you, and move towards a life that feels more authentic, balanced and fulfilling.

My approach is grounded in psychological theory, evidence-informed practice and genuine human connection. Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, without pressure, judgement or expectation.

A practice for women

Women often carry enormous emotional responsibilities while appearing to cope effortlessly on the outside.

Whether navigating motherhood, relationships, career pressures, loss, changing identities or major life transitions, many women spend so much energy caring for others that they lose sight of themselves.

I wanted to create the kind of space I believe every woman deserves - one where there is time to pause, reflect, process life's challenges and reconnect with who you are beneath the many roles you fulfil. You don't need to be in crisis to seek support. Sometimes simply making space to understand yourself more deeply can be one of the most valuable investments you make in your emotional wellbeing.

Hear. You. is based near Farnham, Surrey, offering online support to women across the UK.
